About Dave
If you are looking for a fairly large gentle giant that would make an ideal family dog then please come and meet me at the Toowoomba Shelter. I have good manners and like to be the centre of attention.I am a pretty laid back character and can get on with other dogs on social occasions, but I prefer to be the one and only dog in your family. If I have to share with another dog it would be best if she was a calm social female.I love to fetch with anyone that has the time. I also enjoy playing with my toys when there is nothing else to do. My size dictates that I will need a large yard with high secure fencing. I am fairly low energy at this point but do enjoy the occasional gallop about.I am middle aged and have some minor creaks and rattles that have been assessed and treated by my friends at the shelter so check with the staff for more info on my medical history. An experience large dog handler would be ideal, and I would need to meet any younger children in your family due to my bulk.If you think I might be the pet for you, give the shelter a call on (07)46 341 304 to organise to meet me. I look forward to a forfilling partnership.
Dear Visitor, please note a property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
Please note that this website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party. We unfortunately can not put animals on hold over the phone.
